Version 1.0 — Effective 4 September 2026

Who we are

Skills2Earn Foundation is a South African non-profit company. This notice explains how we handle personal information submitted through skills2earn.org and related programme forms.

Information we collect

Depending on the form, we may collect your first and last name, email address, optional phone number, province or suburb, opportunity or programme interests, and optional education or employment information. We collect only the fields shown on the form you choose to submit.

Why we use it

  • to acknowledge and administer the programme registration or expression of interest you requested;
  • to send information relevant to that programme or interest;
  • to manage programme attendance and related operational records where applicable;
  • to send broader marketing or WhatsApp updates only where you make a separate, voluntary choice.

Declining optional marketing or WhatsApp communications will not prevent programme registration. Optional choices are not preselected.

Brevo and other service providers

Website form submissions create or update a contact record in Brevo and add it to the relevant Skills2Earn list so that we can manage the requested communication. We also use service providers needed to host, secure and measure the website, including Google Analytics through Site Kit.

Skills2Earn form information is not automatically shared with HP LIFE, St Gabriel’s Anglican Church or Idleads. Where a separate external registration is required, you provide information directly to that organisation under its own privacy terms.

Marketing and unsubscribe

Broader marketing requires a separate voluntary choice. Marketing emails will provide an unsubscribe route. You may also ask us to stop optional communications at any time.

Retention and security

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the stated purpose, recordkeeping and applicable obligations, and then delete or de-identify it where appropriate. A detailed retention schedule and final legal wording remain under professional review. We use reasonable organisational and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw optional consent, or raise a privacy complaint. Some requests may be subject to lawful recordkeeping requirements.
